Self-defined as a "marketing strategist who crafts words to convince people to act," Jeff Berger has been creating clear-cut, effective marketing, PR, and Web strategies and crafting those "words" for many prestigious clients for more than 30 years.

Jeff began his career as a newspaper-radio-TV reporter in Rhode Island. Subsequently, he spent several years in financial services/insurance, where he became NASD registered and produced financial sales-related newsletters, product collateral, personality features, annual reports, speeches, presentations, field magazines, and more.

In 1981 Jeff moved on to high technology, where he gained extensive experience in corporate and marketing communications and PR involving semiconductor technology; telecommunications; CAD/CAM and CIM/CAE; server, workstation, and PC hardware and software; networking; remote access technologies; product testing and analysis; manufacturing; and the World Wide Web/Internet, for which he has written scores of product pages, white papers, backgrounders, and customer testimonials for companies ranging from the Fortune 100 to startups. Jeff founded JMB Communications in 1990.

Today, Jeff continues to work with a spectrum of of high tech companies, but his business has diversified to include hospitality/travel businesses, financial and insurance clients, trade magazines, and other business-to-business and business-to-consumer clients in the US and worldwide. JMB Communications also contracts with prominent PR, ad, Web, and direct marketing agencies and even authors -- and lots of others.
